Don and others--

The easiest way to avoid having mold in the one part of the cyanotype
emulsion, it to mix both parts together. I have one container: start
with the water, add pot ferri (which takes a little longer to go into
solution), then add fer am cit, stir together. This never molds and
keeps for months. Sometimes this will eventually turn bluish, but often
prints fine even then. It it isn't used up before you find the
highlights staying light blue, use it for a print where this is
effective. Or throw out the little remaining and start over.
