For me, the order YMC, then YMCK has worked best. The recipe I have called
for Cadmium Yellow and that has served me fairly well. When I put the first
Y layer down, I come back with a second coat of lamp black outside the
picture area where the registration marks are. That way I have very little
trouble registering subsequent layers.
