RE: Printer for inkjet negs

For a really cheap printer solution try the Epson C80 or C82 printer. I
purchased a refurbed C80 for $60. I've had moderate success with the
C80. When I get my darkroom back in action I'll finish trimming in my
testing with the C80. There are some caveats about how the printer
deposits black ink depending on your media choice. Unfortunately I lost
all of my notes after a system crash recently, otherwise I would be more
specific.

Did a quick check with fluorescents ('home solarium') and some old,
fogged, POP paper, and the patterns are still in the print. Next time
I'm in town I'll get some NOT papers and try, but I'm not hopeful.
Maybe all 1160s weren't created equal!

Leaves me unsure whether its worth trying a C84 (reasonably cheap) or
trying to find a cheap 950 (which I think is the 960 in US).
