Arthur,
I have to say the standard formula works just fine--like the one from Coming into Focus or Historic Photographic Processes. However, I also like the Caseine formula and Namias' formula. I was just trying to give some idea of the possible variations. I haven't tried sizing with corn starch or arrowroot, but I'll get to them eventually. I usually add a drop of 5% Tween-20 to 10 ml of silver nitrate solution for rod coating. It isn't necessary with Namias' formula because the glycerin does the job.
Regards,

Hi Ed. I've just read your article on salt prints and have one question: Which of the eight or nine formulas that you list do you recommend? Thanks. Arthur
