I bet a roll of my deep frozen APX25 that your (or Scott's) spell
checker dictionary doesn't have my first name.

When I test some very sensitive developer solutions (not to scare
anyone who's using D-76 or anything...) I have to deaerate water
before testing. This is because water kept in a bottle or jar contains
some air in it. Fresh water coming out of tap also contains some air.
There is some chance that the dissolved air is doing something to the
dilute glyoxal solution. If that is the case, vacuum stopper may work
better than nitrogen flush, because vacuum pump greatly reduces the
pressure inside the bottle, and promotes deaeration. If it's easy for
you to try, do it and let us know :-)

When necessary, I deaerate my water by heating in microwave oven, and
then putting in vacuum, repeat a couple of times with a few hours in
between.

When I checked their price, it was a bit higher than what's said in
the previous post. Maybe they increased.
