Scott,

I have a freezer full of Efke 25 having been excited about it's raves and
purported high silver content. But alas I have not been able to shoot any
to date. If not before, I will be shooting the 3rd week of Feb. The full
moon in Feb. always starts my shooting season - start out in South GA and
shoot my way North timing it to be in the Smokies mid April for the
wildflowers, clean air, and if just after a Spring rain, expansive vistas.

Start out with >> http://www.visionsinnature.com/StillWaters/Riverhouse.htm

End up with >> http://www.visionsinnature.com/Appalachia/Springsmoke.htm

What a life. :)

But, I need to get away from this color stuff, get up my nerve and try some
of these methods I've been lurking around and peeping over everyone's
shoulder about.

Ok, I lost. Do you want to pay for shipping or come to Boston? :-)

Not a genuine slow speed film, but I unexpectedly found Acros 100 to
work pretty well at EI 32 or so, and cut back development just a bit.
I was testing a new developer with Acros, and my first guess time was
about 10% shorter than normal contrast, but the overexposed frame came
out very nicely. Some sensitometric data indicate that the highlight
contrast is more preferentially lowered. It may work with TMX but
haven't trid it yet.
