Kleerbase was a brand name used Pilcher Hamilton Corporation in Greer, South
Carolina. I bought a 100 sheet package about 12 years ago, so I have no
idea whether it's still available. Any sort of 'clear layout base'
polyester material should suffice. This product was used extensively in the
pre-press industry in the past. With imagesetters and direct to plate
technology so prevalent now, it may or may not be readily available through
graphic arts supplies dealers.
