HI Sam, I am one woman with two names, Paula but my friends callme Polli, use whatever suits.
I love contact from other chemigramists, and I do not think I have any secrets left!

As for the process, I believe silver gelatine is becoming very alternative, and teh practice of forming a chemigram sure is , as you will know.

I have worked on Centennial POp thanks to the fantastic folk at Bostick and Sullivan, and I have my eye on the other silver processes.

Imagery at APIS was abstract and I do not have any photos sadly, I would love some too if any are out there!

Check out my work at
www.virtualtart.co.nz (tart as in Taranaki ART people)

also check out

Jon Lybrook is setting up the site and also a list for us to use so as not to disturb others with our obsession. Love to talk to you there! It will be up and running soon , will post to the list when sorted.

I would like to add a quick thanks to all those who replied to Sam with such kind words, and if I had known Dan was such an expert I would have swapped him a print for picking his brains! Dan, I will be in touch, once home and sorted, and thanks for all your great support and help at APIS, do not forget, you and Jill have to come to NZ next year.

A huge thanks to Melody and Richard for all your hospitality and enthusiasm, Richard makes vege soup worth travelling across the world for and Melody is truly amazing.

Chris, I meant to catch up with you before you left I have a wee thank you for all your help, we never did get to talk properly, but it was great to meet you. Please send your address off list and I can post this.

Also to Jon, Walter, Aimee, Jan , Gael, Joe, Renee and all those who were so kind to a scared and lonely kiwi, thanks from the bottom of my heart!
.See you all in 2005.

Huge Hugs
Arohanui (look it up Richard)
Polli

PS Also, if anyone knows others who have worked in the process please send names. To me or to the chemigramist list. I have a dissertatuion to write. Ta

Is this woman one person or Two?
Would she mind me contacting her do you think? Some folks do not like to give out secrets.
All the way from New Zealand huh? International is right!
Thanks to those who replied, actually i would like to know what you all think of this as a valid alternative process, I mean it is an alternative use, but it is Gelatine silver, has she applied this to any other medias?
To those who actually saw the work, what colours did she get? What sort of imagery was it? Anyone have photos at all?
This is great, I thought I was the only one doing this, I found it by accident in a gallery years ago after a friend did a workshop, had no idea it had a following.

Did you ever work with (or know) L. Murry Jamison?? She once lived in
Hallowell, Maine but is now in Santa Barbara, CA. I've seen exhibited
numerous of her "Chromoskedasic Printing" prints and liked them very much.
She was giving workshops in the process - in The Islands, I believe....
(nice work if you can get it!!)
