Hi guys,

Where are you getting the idea that the 2200 handles larger paper than the 1280? They are the same in that regard - both will take paper up to 13 inches wide.

As for deciding between them, I think one prime consideration should be whether or not you intend to use stock Epson inks. For color printing with ultrachrome inks, the extra initial expense of the 2200 is clearly worthwhile. On the other hand, if you intend to use 3rd party inks (especially greyscale inks such as Cone or MIS) through a CIS/CFS then the benefits of the 2200 are significantly diminished IMO.
