It does, indeed, provide one w/rather flat and in my mind unusable negs.
However, that technique combined w/a re-development in standard C41
chemicals will yield what is known as 'cross processed' slides that turn
into a negative. Some rather creative efforts can be practices via this
route . particularly if one employ IR color film.
