London & London used to be one of the classic texts for silver gelatin, I
believe, but, I think a divorce? In any event, it does seem that
publishers today have noticed popularity of "alt" or "non-silver" and
caused authors to add such chapters to new editions....well out of their
area of expertise.

If you like the processes, you may want to get one (or more, like peanuts
one is never enough) of the dedicated books out now on the topic ...

Meanwhile, enjoy!
