photo-acrylic intaglio question

Has anyone on the list used the acrylic film for photo-intaglio that is not
mounted but sold as a roll (much cheaper than Solarplate)? There is IMAGE ON
and products by Z ACRYL and probably many more. How did they do for you at
mounting and imaging?
