When to tone

Sandy - I haven't seen any literature on the timing of toning either. I
have selenium toned, sepia toned and just bleached with no toning
immediately after finishing rinsing and have also tried the same procedures
months after photos were done. There didn't seem to be a pattern of
differences, at least that I could see. And both ways seem to be fine when
I checked in on them years later. I'd be interested to know if there is a
