On the one hand, those of us who don't, for whatever reasons (attention
span, free radicals of brain power, finances, or --- fill in the blank)
keep up with the software du jour, or perhaps simply resist planned
obsolescence, accept the fact that we will miss some experiences and that
some of them will be swell. We try to keep a stiff upper lip about it.

On the other hand, for folks to declare that every right-thinking
right-living person has to or ought to "keep up" and if they don't they
deserve to suffer is ...how shall I say,..... driven???

This is after all a forum for old processes.... Some folks feel that these
and the concomitant art issues take more time & energy than there is....
Also that there will always be, um, computer geeks, so that field doesn't
need us.

Which is not to denigrate Galina's website -- in fact I find her ability
to straddle old & new among her most awesome qualities. But let's
remember that this is a personal, not a moral choice.

cheers,

Judy
