Re: benefit of digital camera

The benefits of any media are often a lot more complex than the costs to
the user.

Despite having a strong investment in time and $ in digital I started
moving back to film last year. For most of the images I create I find it
the most direct, and sometimes the only method.

There are times I toss 4 lbs of digicam and lens in with my already
overloaded pack of 4x5 gear.. plenty of times there are images I'd like to
have that I'm honestly too lazy to spend the money on film, develop, print,
scan, etc.

Each person's experiences and needs are different but I urge you to
consider more than just cost before you pick up a new camera.
