Ouch, no fun. But, that type of story isn't a "digital" issue. I shot
an industrial site for a commercial client a few years ago. The company
went to great expense setting up the scene. Sent the 120 e-6 into the
lab, they "misloaded" it in the processor, it fell to the floor of the
processor, no-one noticed. At the end of the day they opened the
processor to clean it, exposing my film to room light, all gone and no
hope of recovery.
