         SOP troubleshooting really. Givin that you are running Winderz
that is. If you are, try clearing the startup and services in MSCONFIG,
reboot and see of the problem persists.

         The best site I know of for explaining the MSCONFIG utility is ;

         If you're running 2000/XP, a good place to look for errors is in
the Event Viewer. Simply right-click My Computer, left-click Manage to
bring up the Computer Management console. Click on Event Viewer in the left
column and then double-left-click System in the right column. You'll see
numerous entries but the only important ones are listed as Error on the
left and marked with a red circle with a white X in it. See if these give
you a direction to look in.
