NuArc for other processes

I'm considering selling my NuArc 26-1K to a friend who prints Van
Dykes and silkscreens. My pea brain knows Pt/Pd, but not other
processes I don't use so could someone let me know whether the NuArc
would work for both Van Dykes and silkscreens.

I'm curious, too, what specific UV range those two processes respond to.

Also, my subscription to Judy's Post-Photo ran out some time ago.
Does she have a web page with an index of articles from past issues?
