Katherine, I remember, as a child, having seen doctors use a small file to
make a heavy score on the neck of a glass ampule. I guess this mark must be
sufficiently deep to enable the glass to be broken off. These files must be
especially tough for glass. Ask your local doctor or pharmacist.
Hope its all worth it with the glute, in the end.
Be positive when you break the glass. Dont twist and use a pair of pliers
to securely grip the neck of the ampule just above the score mark.
