I just purchased a print from a photographer in Germany whose work I
probably would never had seen without the net.

I also have a couple friends who have sold prints off the internet and
one was approached on a book deal due to his website. His book was just
published a few months ago. So, there are some opportunities that might
otherwise might be missed without the web.
