RE: Printing Grayscale Prints with the Epson 2200

Gerry,

With the 2200 drive, at least the Mac version, after you click on
Print you get to a Menu that includes Ink Settings. Click on Ink
Settings, and then you have the choice of media type and either Color
or Black ink. Click Color, then make sure that Automatic is selected.

With the enhanced matte paper I am getting a very neutral tone
monochrome print.

BTW, I tried the same procedure on the C-84 and also got nice neutral
tone prints.
