             I recently purchased a copy of " Hurrell Hollywood " and I
must say this book is just plain magnificent......It is by far the most
impressive portrait book I have ever viewed............. It is a collection
of 140 of Hurrells Glamour shots ( mostly portraits ) from 1927 thru 1990
that were personally selected by George Hurrell himself............. Most of
the images are 8x10 to 11x14 which adds to the impact
dramatically.............

The book's photogravures are printed in duotones which gives many
of the images a very warm or cold feeling.......... It is a good study, not
only in how the book was printed, but you'll find yourself trying to figure
out how he did each shot.........

Treat your self and go to your local library and borrow a copy.!
....It is a very expensive book ( $75 to $160 ) so you might want to
check it out first. .... I was so moved by it I just had to have a
copy..... There are many similar titles so make sure you get the right
one.......ISBN 0-312-08220-7 It is a oversized book in hardback.......

Does any one know of the printing processes Hurrell used?
