Clay, This is what I had on hand when all the Na2 introduction was being
pushed. I looked it up and the platinic acid substitutes H for Na. I mixed
it as 20% down from I think 50%. I had it on hand to use as a toner for
platinum prints. It works fine. In fact I can see no reason why it wouldn't
work as well or better than Na2. Better? More neutral. Na has a tendency to
warm up palladium prints, so I'd expect the elimination of it to reduce the
warmth of your print.
Can you comment on it? You should be able to buy Platinic Acid from
Engelhard as I did.
