Re: Author frustration.

Ha, I had the flip happen to me. I wrote an article on mordancage, even got
the complete article layout in the mail with my images and stuff and was
really pleased with the way it looked, told all my friends to watch for it
at Barnes and Noble mag stand that month, and then....Photovision went belly
up the issue my article was to appear.. So not only did I never get paid, I
never got published AND I looked really foolish.

PS Oh NOOOO, even worse, I did the cardinal mistake of sending a publisher
my complete book as a PDF. Come to find out, one of the supposed
"reviewers" of the book was a person who, in fact, was writing a similar
book. Of course, found out within the next 2 yr that the publisher never
had any intention of publishing my book, because this author/reviewer was
contracted to write the similar book even at the time of my submission.
