Fixing van Dyke

Hello list,
Has anybody used Kodak Fixer chemical (Fixer, Rapid fixer, Polymax or Kodafix) to fix Van Dyke prints instead of using Sodium thiosulfate?
Kodak Fixer (contains Sodium thiosulfate) but ha any body tried? proportions, time for fixing? results?
