Dave, Bob,
I have been unable to obtain Art Maskoid locally. I have tried Art
Masking Fluid by Burma (artist's liquid rubber with ammonia). It is
easy to peel of after processing but leaves a
pale yellowish residue in the area to which it was applied.
There are two other ammonia-containing masking liquids available (one
by Winsor Newton), both of which contain ammonia, and are used by
watercolorists.
Does Dick Blick's product contain ammonia? Does it leave a stain when
it is peeled off?
