I usually leave gelatin at least overnight after coating. As long as I use
hardener (usually formaldehyde) I have no problems with coating in quite a
short timeframe.

I have exposed cyanotype prints and plan to coat these with a layer of
gelatin/hardener. How long should I wait before applying a gum
bichromate layer? Does the gelatin need to "season/set"?

Thank you ! Anne
