I can personally attest to the quality of this product since I own and use
one. I also was one of the first beta testers of this holder since Doug is a
long time friend of mine here in the Atlanta area. The construction of the
holder is first rate; it is doubtful that one of comparable quality could be
made at home, especially for 29.95. Doug stands behind his product so if you
do order one you won't be disappointed.

The holder is precise and allows a lot of flexibility for scanning different
sized formats in 120. It can also be used with his ANG accessory to scan
Hasselblad XPan negatives or pano format 120 negatives.

If you are a VueScan user you can do accurate batch scans as well.

I do not have any financial interest in the holders, BTW.

Hi James, Gerry and Shannon,

I own an Epson 4990 scanner.
For all the special medium formats negatives, you might use a "MF Film
Holder" which can be used with the 4990 and other epson scanners.
Their page is there :
http://home.earthlink.net/~dougfisher/holder/mfholderintro.html

and the cost is less than 30 US $.
They have also Anti-Newton glasses.

An other device which could be used with (xè slides is the diacover magnetic

system. I don't know very well. Info can be found at :
http://www.diacover.de/

Hope it helps
Cheers from France!

Jean
