Charles, does this mean that you weren't using distilled water when
mixing the first 1 (or 2) batches?

I tried mixing Vandyke sensitizer without using distilled water once and
the silver nitrate solution immediately turned cloudy. Seeing this, I
didn't proceed further and restarted using distilled water.
