Recording Light Meter

I want to measure incident light over relatively long periods of time
sampling at some descrete intervals (minutes). I am measuring sun
light..both direct and reflected (i.e. out of door brightness).....not
biolumenescense as is often done in research laboratories.

I can certainly do this with any incident light meter reading the EV and
converting but I need to automate the process. Any suggestions will be
appreciated. I anticipate ending up with a meter of some sort sampling the
light as some interval and feeding the reading to a PC. So I have three
needs...the meter, the PC input, and the software.
