You may not have observed it but it happens. You have probably not coated
paper with albumen for this purpose.

As I said, yellowing of albumen occurs even when there has not been any
silver anywhere near the albumenised paper.. This is recorded in the literature. It
is no longer of particualr concern as there is a simple way of overcoming it
which is also recorded in the literature.
