Glut

Some weeks ago Ryuji sent me a small quantity of glut and I am about
to start experimenting with it. What I have is a 2.5% solution, and
Ryuji's directions are to add about 5-10ml of this solution to each
liter of gelatin solution.

Is the hardening immediate when one sizes paper with glut?

Also, anyone have any information of how the glut might work in
sizing papers with an albumen type coating, i.e. egg white solution?
