Sometimes there is oxidation build up on battery contacts. Try rubbing them
with a pencil eraser. My F-4 Has has done the same thing.

For all this digital analog conversation, my Nikon N80 decided to quit on me
today. Itis all the electronics. It wii not catch and advance the film. I
have changes the batteries, turned it off, etc. Any suggestions? I need to
take some slides with it.
