darkslide material

This past August I put together a half-dozen 4 x 10 inch film holders. I
made darkslides out of 1/32 inch white board spray painted black. To my
disgust I find that they are not totally opaque! Does anyone know where I
can order some large sheets of darkslide material (the same as in
contemporary film holders such as Lisco)?

Replacement darkslides for 8 x 10 holders are not an option, as I can't get
two 4 x 10s out of one 8 x 10 cut in half, not wide enough. I don't want
to purchase twelve 8 x 10 dark slides as it would be too expensive.
