Thanks for the suggestion, I don't have strobes but have fished out a large halogen light we have used in the yard which gives off a fearsom glare and shall experiment with that - shall have to keep my partner David away from it somewhat as it gets pretty warm! It will hopefully give me an idea of what is needed. Hmmm!If you've got access to a strobe kit, you wouldn't necessarily need to wait. If you set up the strobes directly behind the subject to fire at full power toward the camera, you can get a similar effect.
