RE: archivalness of gum
Well, we only have a few words from the curator. After all these discussions, maybe we can say that the curator either doesn't know much about alternative processes, or maybe s/he knows enough that gum alone doesn't mean archival. If you print a gum print with a fugitive pigment, it will fade rather quickly especially if exposed to light. Dave
