Re: paper cutting for pt/pd andother alt processes

There is a 'new' tool on the block for those who with to create a deckle edge, albeit
not exactly the quality of the deckle edge created in manufacturing, but posssibly
better than a steel straight edge.

Take boo at.....

I use a long metal ruler and use it as a straight edge. I hold it down the ruler and pull the paper along the edge. It does a nice job of keeping the line very straight and just enough fray to make it look deckled.

Hi all...

How do you all cut your paper for pt/pd and the like?

Do you rip to maintain a torn edge on all sides or use a paper cutter/x-acto/razor/whatever?

Mostly interested in your aesthetic decisions and reasons...

Thanks...
