tri-color & oil print
.... still working -like mad- for my exhibition next month. The oilprint (the dentist in Marrakech) is done with a base of lith- ink Vermillion and to stiff it adding pure pigment Cad Red 'M'. http://www.thijs-foto.com/newDESIGN/MARRAKECH.jpg The tri-color : a few of the famous terracotta warriors from China (seen in MAASEIK Belgie) http://www.thijs-foto.com/newDESIGN/MAASEIK1.jpg Cheers, Henk ps: Judy, not only the paperbasket is one of my main 'targets'; also mixing my colors can end up in a real mess... Henk: you say if you don't like the color you've mixed "down the drain." Does that mean you can tell from the mix before printing, or do you mean after you've done a coat? I find the color seems to change after exposure and development... (tho that may be just my eyesight). On 5 dec 2008, at 16:14, Diana Bloomfield wrote:These are beautiful, Henk. I love looking at your work; thanks for posting these. I especially like the one-color. Was it just one coat, one color, or multiple coats, one color?
