Get there by the train, plain, automobile to see Dan's images. The photos are spectacular and in the gallery light they just glow. The image that has the gold and palladium (looks like silver)leaf backing is just amazing. The web reproduction is rather poor with a harsh contrast.
There was an unframed print in the gallery so you could examine the working process and the photographer was at hand to talk about it.
I spent some time talking to Dan and it was a blast. For those of you in the Houston area the show is a must.
It was so inspiring and i am hoping to have one done by the weekend. The smaller 4x6 images resonated so well with the process.
