Eureka, I have found it...

Greetings all:

The other day, while wasting my time searching for something totally
unrelated to alternative processes, I stumbled onto what appears to be the
"motherload" of pigments.

This company seems to specialize in art supplies and information of historic
or traditional nature, ie:

"Kremer Pigmente (German for Pigments) is a company located in Germany, that
has been in existence for over 20 years now. It is still a relatively small
company that was founded and is directed to this day, by Dr. Georg Kremer.
As a chemist he has the ability to research sources for his line of
products, to ensure the compatibility with other products and to guarantee
his line represents the best quality available. In fact Dr. Kremer devotes
much of his time finding new sources for his expansive line of impossible to
find pigments. Just recently he found a source for genuine Sepia at the
Adriatic sea. He is continuously researching new sources throughout Europe
to expand his already unrivaled repetoire of earth tones, which has grown to
over 60 hues. Although this discovery process may seem like an unbridled
journey into the infinite world of color, it is motivated by the demand that
his clientele of artists and members of the conservation trade have
communicated to him over the years. It is Kremer Pigmente's continuing
interest in maintaining a top quality line of products, that has prompted
Sinopia to become one of Kremer's points of distribution and in turn a
communicator of clientele feed-back."

They have a dozen pigments for black.
