I subscribed just over a year ago and have kept up with the post the best I
can, during this time, I have honestly not noticed a trend of this nature,
on the other hand there have been occasions, when individual members have
been less than generous to newbies, but for every case of this kind , the
response of members wishing to help has out numbered the sour pussies.

When dealing with a list of this nature it is very easy to get a bit
paranoid, I know I did when I first came on line, and made a complete
a***ole of myself, but the list very generously forgave me.

We are like a big family sometimes we clash, but most of the time we have a
mutual love of creative printmaking, and the sharing the common wealth of
collective experience, which binds us together rather like family love.

To use my family analogy you sound just like my granddaughter whom I love
dearly but she also stamps her foot when she cant get her own way. :-)

Oh' dear, don't be so daft, you are a vital part of this list, you are our
future, when all of us old fogies have gone down the road, you will still
be there making wonderful prints, giving hell to these young upstarts who
keep asking questions and taking up your valuable printmaking time.

questionable if we should even write to this list<

NOBODY EVER SAID THAT please excuse my shouting,us oldies can also get a
bit miffed at times!.

>how does anyone ever become a "super-regular"?<

By doing just what you are doing now, but more so, by asking questions ,
taking part in what going on, giving as well as taking, the giving bit is
great fun. In other words to use an old saying, caste your bread upon the
waters and it will come back sevenfold.

ps I am full of old saying's, most of them dead boring, or so my friends
say, this is what is great about the list, I cant switch off my friends,
but I can the computer :-)
