Okay, the debate is now a colloquy. Was riding the backroads of Marin
(my home) and thought of "the old days" when things were what I thought
they were to be. Came up with the term 'Historical' which felt
applicable to the methods of photography we have recaptured to use in a
contemporary fashion.
Because there is a certain wondrous beauty created by their use … I
mean, why not therefore use Ag Gelatin all the time? … because there is
a sumptuous quality emanating from a hand wrought photographic image on
a lovely piece of paper, an elquent statement if you will. Historical
fills the bill.
