Only if I am making a gum platinum print from in camera negs. In which
case I would expose two negs but with different exposures and development
times so that I could get the best from both either separately or together.
For larger gum prints I am using Typon film for enlarged negatives , (I
have a large box which cost a lot of money). I develop in PQ at 1: 9). When
it runs out I will probably use paper but it always a good idea to keep an
eye out for lith film even in skips (dumpsters) which I develop to
continuous tone in PQ Universal at 1:20 for gum prints.
