Smooth paper is run though hot rollers as it comes off the drum and is thus
hot pressed or 'hot'; paper which does not go throught the rollers is
slightly rougher and has a tooth and is known as not hot pressed or 'not'.

Fabriano 5 or 'Classico' in the States, also works well. remember to use a
heavier weight paper, ie 300 gsm or 140 lb. The Fabriano paper is not
quite as tough however. I also use heavy ester base film that will resist
movement of the paper.
