Gene, Terry,

Thanks to you both for the advice, another possibility crossed off the
list. I currently have some prints drying which are printed heavier and
bleached using Venn's 2 bath. This seems like a good idea as each bath
gets the time needed to complete its function. I wondered if I may be
over tanning while waiting for the image to bleach. So I have limited to
tanning bath to 4mins as suggested in the Venn's method.

I have also a couple of MCC118 prints awaiting bleaching, overprinted by
1 stop as Gene suggested. As its a Belgian holiday Monday and Tuesday I
hope to get some inking done.

I concur on the blocking shadows with ink straight from the can, I spend
a lot of time with a erasure pulling them back! So will try the various
methods of hardening for the initial inking.

Many thanks for the pointers, will let you know how I get on.

brgds
