Spammers (was Sign-up page for the list)

Just to reassure everyone; I take certain precautions to prevent spammers
from getting the address list, Dick is doing the same.

Only me, as the list manager, has access to the subscription database. If
someone wants any information on who is subscribed they must contact me. I
don't give out this information unless I am sure it is going to be used
legitimately. I have only given the subscription list out twice, both
times to reputable people who have been involved with the list for many
years.

The only way a spammer could get addresses, is by subscribing to the list
and saving the addresses of all that post. Too much work for most
spammers.
