Joe, in the past you put your instructions for your sizing method (%,
etc.) on the list and I filed it, intending to try it some day. I think
that day is nigh, and I THINK I could find the file, probably, maybe. But
since you're here, so to speak, and I'm sure others will be interested,
would you be so kind as to repeat?
I promise this time to download & print out & then folks can ask *me*...
and maybe I'll find the paper. (Today I cleaned up the ground floor
staging area looking for the sweetpotato casserole recipe my cousin made
for Thanksgiving... no luck yet and only another 15 inches of papers to
go.)
Incidentally, yesterday I made a 3-color separation print on Somerset Book
without added sizing -- just preshrunk the paper. The colors cleared
fairly well, though with more staining than is ideal, but by the 3rd coat
the paper was quite fuzzy -- I'd only used auto soak, no brushing, but I
think the soaks just worked on the paper. The effect was to soften the
detail. The next one I'd try without added size would be Fabriano Uno...
