Dave may be headed in the right direction.... the springs may be weak, he
could need more spacer in the frame. I would be hestant to "bend the
bars". Many of these are "spring metal" and that doesn't like to be bent.
You could do more harm than good. I have some frames I like, but they had
gotten "weak". So I had Doug Kennedy (707-647-1447) put new (and much
nicer) spring metal on them. Quite reasonable $$ compared to new frames.

Another possibility I have seen is that the paper Dave is printing on my be
curling/deforming too much during the coating stage. I found that with
some papers I need to put them under my "flat piece of metal with a big
weight on top" for an hour (after they are completely dry of course). Then
I get much less of a problem. This is far more common with 16x20 paper
than with 11x14 or 8x10. I'm going to have to try John Rudiak's

I need (want) a bigger size, and that sounds so wonderfully simple and
CHEAP ;-)
