I have had plenty of experience stitching photos together and have tried
the various commercial applications and have concluded it's far
better--and easier--to do it in Photoshop. The seams are completely
seamless and you have far greater flexibility. The photos are a lot
sharper and there is no way you can tell they were stitched together. And
I have never had any luck stitching together any file of even a medium
resolution, much less high. Don't believe the ads on the companies
websites, they just don't work very well.
Its all about adding something called a layer mask (and then Reveal All),
and the whole process is explained very clearly on the below URL. I
highly recommend spending 30 minutes trying out this process, and I
guarantee you'll never want to waste your time with stitching software in
the future!
