Well, sadly I never tried Super-XX before it was discontinued, so I'm not
sure what I'm missing. If it were reintroduced, I would try it.
Anyway, I've seen some results with it that were able to solarize the sun
so that it would appear black in the final print. I am wondering if the
same effect can be achieved with Bergger 200, and if so, what developer
would be most desirable to obtain that effect. I think I recall a photo I
saw that Ansel Adams took in Owens Valley that produced such an effect on
Super-XX with either a Windisch compensating pyro developer or D-23.
